Fifth generation Thames Waterman & Managing Director, Tom Woods, knows every ebb & flow of this historic riverscape and together with crew, in-house event team & brigade of chefs they can offer any made to measure cruise you can imagine.
Woods' Silver Fleet have been serving and transporting dignitaries and Royalty on the Thames for over almost seven decades - from a private cruise for Prince Charles' in 1971 to the 2012 Diamond Jubilee River Pageant.
Chairman and owner of the company, Alan Woods, was appointed Waterman to HM the Queen in 1981, officially accompanying Her Majesty when she chose to travel by Thames. On his retirement in 1997, Alan was made, and remains, 'Extra Waterman to HM the Queen'.
Woods' Silver Fleet now also own Savoy Pier, one of only a handful of privately owned central London piers, allowing seamless connections to transport links across the capital.
